Regardless of whatever religion a person belongs to (or even the lack of it), I honestly think that the present generation has the most diverse and abstract idea of God. That is not at all bad. Sometimes, it can be good. Recognizing diversity results in openness and tolerance towards other people's perception of God.
To me, the Conscience is the God within us all.

...your quesion and topic, everything! i mean, God has everything to do with everything. being a Christian, i believe that He is the end-all and be-all of things. now to the other one, i think this generation perceives God, in any character or form their beliefs take, as the One responsible for things unexplained, unexplored and unintended. the positive or negative effect of this perception, of course, depends on the person.
