guys, am just curious on how you came up with your codenames. it would be nice if you can share your story! might as well start... marasmus means a progressive muscle wasting due protein deficiency, the thing is when i started listening to chix and del am only weighing 86 lbs (am 5'1")! imagine that! tsk! tsk! so, i was practically marasmic. but now i've achieved my ideal weight of 108, thank God!

My codename is TriviaMaster. How did i arrived by that code? well actually hindi ako ang nagbigay ng code na yan. B4 my code was Zeth. Delamar would greet me by the name of zeth70. Then i joined the ML of the rushers. I used to send out trivias para sa ml. Then one time meron premiere ang KC for the movie Deuce Bigalow. I wanted to go but the problem is i dont have a ticket. One of the members of the ML Jonas told me he has a spare ticket so he told me to meet him at the lobby of the cinema in Robinsons Galleria. Pagdating ko dun si Jonas ang nagsabi ng so ikaw pala si Vic. Then he told the other rushers that im from the ml at my name daw is TriviaMaster maybe because nga of those trivias i used to send. Pasensya na medyo mahaba. Maybe you already heard my code a lot of times sa KC b4.

well, i'm a romantic and chivalrous, put them together and you've got something to the effect of a knight in shining armor kaya lang that souded a bit long and i thought others may think of it as mayabang also, i still don't know who my King will point to me to be my damsel (in distress?)... but i know i'll find her in time ;D

well, i used to suffix my name with "kyut" but recently decided to drop it. the rushers i met last tuesday at HR now know why i should do that. ;D

as for my name, i think i'll have to ask my folks. what i know is that even before, uso na ang jologs. my father's name kase starts with R so they decided to name us (i have 3 siblings) with R names too. just so you'll know, my sister's name starts with Ra, and my two other brothers' Re and Ri. obviously, ako yung Ro. ang jologs 'no?! si Ru, ewan ko. baka iba ang nanay nya. kidding! ;D

haay, kaya naman am really curious to find out the story behind the codenames. im pretty sure that everyone has a witty, funny and interesting story to tell for all the rushers' delight! hope to hear from the other rushers!

Back in the summer of 1997, I started paging in my entries to the Morning Chat using the name Ralph. I got so engrossed at listening to my entries being read on air so I thought of using another name that I could use aside from Ralph, and that was Waldo. I would page in as Ralph in one entry and as Waldo in another one.

Chico started noticing that Ralph and Waldo would always page subsequently. So I made it appear that Ralph and Waldo were twins. In short, I lied. It also gave me a chance to antagonize Delamar twice in an hour (being part of the "antagonizers" headed by Cherry).

I got "buking" (found out) A YEAR LATER when my friend Iya made Chix and Delle call me up for the Wake-Up Message as payback for something I did to her. And the rest, as they say, was history... ;D

BTW, [glow=green,2,300]Ralph Waldo[/glow] is my real first name. My parents are lovers of literature.

i don't have an actual codename from the start. my name is a bit unusual here so that's the one i use. but then, i wanted to send more entries and not be known, especially if the topic is kinda embarassing. and for me to reveal my true identity... so i adopted a few such as: washgirl, blue blink, dolly brown.

blue blink -- my favorite cartoon tv show at that time

dolly brown -- my favorite color, dull brown

washgirl -- one rh morning, i joined the movie quiz just for the joke of it without even knowing what movie was being asked about. i got in and then chico asked, "what was the next word"? and i was so clueless. they explained that it was a verb and that the first word shown was sleep, so what was the second. the first thing that came to my mind was "wash." so i told them and short of laughing out loud, chico and delle told me that it was not.

after that my friends started calling me, "what on earth are you thinking of?! wash?! how could wash be associated with a horror movie?!"

so, there!

btw, the answer was "dig." and i don't use codenames anymore...
